For RAM, statistics about unemployment and poverty aren’t just numbers on a page. We see it in the faces of the new guests that arrive daily at the shelter, looking for a meal or a safe place to spend the day.
RAM has rightfully earned a reputation as a careful steward of its resources, and people from the community donate to us knowing that we always make the most out of what we are given. We do this by putting as little money as possible into overhead costs and relying heavily on our dedicated volunteers to help us open our doors every day. In 2011 we were able to return approximately 83 percent of all funds raised back into our programs.
Please consider giving to help us continue the necessary services of RAM House without interruption, as it has been since the doors first opened in 1987. Just in order to open our doors to our guests each day, we have to pay utilities, like heat, and buy basic supplies, like disinfectant, for our facility.
